Concept Adds Another Two U.S. Patents to Its Portfolio

City of Industry, CA - Concept has added another two U.S. patents to its collection of engineering awards and accolades. U.S. Patents 8,016,352 and 8,292,364 was issued to Concept for its innovative Chameleon video headrest system that integrates seamlessly into the car. The new patents builds on Concept's previous headrest patents with new innovations around smartphone wireless connectivity and control. The new patents also introduce a method to control other headrests and mobile video displays using a central control unit.

Concept will be exhibiting at CES 2012, in Booth #1520 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Concept is excited to announce that it will leverage the tremendous success of the Chameleon 7” Headrests, and expand the line with a 9” headrest along with 10.1” and 13.3” flip-down video systems that will have interchangeable “skins” to match various vehicle interiors.
In addition, Concept will add two new headphones to its lineup for 2012. All headphones have dual channel IR receivers. There are now headphones specifically designed for children, as well as a high-end model with audiophile sound quality.

Concept is excited to announce the appointment of Neil Carande as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing, responsible for retail sales, distribution and marketing in the U.S. Neil has over 26 years of consumer electronics experience including 18 years at Clarion, most recently as their Vice President of Retail Sales. Neil also ran his own rep firm and had represented Concept where he achieved tremendous success and consistently surpassed Concept’s sales quotas.

Concept Enterprises Inc. has moved to a new state-of-the-art building located next to its previous facility in City of Industry, California. The new two-story, 55,000 square-foot center is Concept’s new headquarters under one roof. The new warehouse extends to a height of 30 feet allowing Concept to stock more inventory than ever before. The engineering and sales departments are located on two floors of offices and labs, and being closely knit allows Concept to work more effectively in fulfilling orders and providing great service to customers.
